Our story
Since 2016, with 30,000 families and counting
Komura Biyori was founded in 2016 by two co-founders devoted to passing on happy memories. We were the first in Taiwan to host Japanese, Korean and traditional Chinese zhuazhou ceremonies. Today we operate five studios island-wide and have welcomed over 30,000 families — more than 100,000 people — making us the most-loved zhuazhou photography brand in Taiwan.
Beyond the 1-year-old ceremony, we keep pushing ourselves. In 2023 we launched the Initiation Ceremony — a uniquely-Taiwanese service for children aged 2 to 7. It pairs ancient ritual with the joy of learning, so kids step into the next chapter wrapped in their parents’ love and blessings.
