In ancient times the drum was a sacred vessel to reach the heavens — the scholar's drum carries blessings up to the sky.

A red dot on the brow with a brush — opening the door to learning, with bright eyes and a clear mind.

Writing the simple, deeply meaningful character "人" (person) on paper — built on the values of being a good person, of growing into someone upright.
